Sunday, November 14, 2010. After the sobering revelation was made to me by my husband that I was now closer to 50 than I was to 20, I must say that so far 36 is looking good. One of the better birth days. A weekend day so I could sleep late. A day Greg was off work. A Sunday so I was with all my friends and church family. A day off from working.

I recently took the above picture in my front yard and I love looking at it. I cannot remember a year when I was as ready for spring as I am this year. Partly bc it is my favorite time of year and partly because winter was not kind to the Isbell. However, this year the winter also came with 1 hospital stay, 2 battles against pneumonia.
