Our Wuxi Girl

The Journey To Maia XiSu. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Yes, it is only November 2nd and yes, that is alot of snow! Our Halloween celebrations this year turned into winter storm warnings and power outages after this beautiful blanket of snow swept into town and gave us 10 inches of heavy snow on Saturday! Not to be deterred by our bizarre fall weather, we found a way to still go trick or treating and gather some candy anyhow! Hes now a whopping 2 years old Tigger! Then there was pumpkin carving. I love.

Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it? Every, every minute? Thornton Wilder, Our Town. When Don paints in nature he paddles solo into the lake or sits quietly on a rock and captures a scene from a remote spot. His watercolours are images from trips to the interior of Algonquin Park, the shores and islands of Georgian Bay, The West Coast of Vancouver Island, and The Nahanni River to name a few.
