This is a journal of my kitchen triumphs, tragedies, and everything in between. Breakfast is one meal I am always looking for a quick wholesome meal for Nugget during the week. As everyone knows getting up and out of the house is a challenge during the week. Before Nugget I often used to pack my breakfast as well as lunch to school. I can still do that for me, but I like to know that Nugget has had something good before he goes to day care.
Friday, 28 September 2012. Seriously, it seems like yesterday, when we first met her in Guangzhou. she was 16 months of age. Five years old? How old are you? Friday, 1 June 2012.
The next steps in our adoption of our daughter from China. These last few days have been filled with digestive issues, traveling, settling into a new city, and making sure we have all of our paperwork completed so that we can exit China and head back to the states with no static or barriers. Tomorrow leads us to Hong Kong for the night and then homeward bound.

Other than the summer we came home from China this will be the longest summer vacation Ive had since moving to Kentucky! It was a raining day yesterday so Nugget and I spent some time at the mall.
