Sunday, February 3, 2013. I woke up this morning with a heart full of gratitude for the many blessings in my life. Two of my biggest blessings come in the form of two small children - I look at them every day and wonder at the sweet gift that each of their individual personalities bring to my life. Miss A has a beautiful soul. She is sweet and considerate. She definitely has inherited the Mommy-gene, and she takes care of her baby brother so lovingly! Thursday, January 31, 2013. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Samuel and Esther just finished performing at San Jacinto Community College for the Gold Cup piano event. They had to memorize four piano pieces each and play them in front of judges. Both did really well and seem just so relieved to be done with it. On the same day we went to our Elementary Schools carnival. It turned out to be a cold and windy day, but luckily not rainy. It was a successful fundraising event for our school after all. Our Pennine Way 1 Sourhope to Kirk Yetholm. As we live in Northumberland it makes sense to start at Kirk Yetholm just over the Border in Scotland and walk south. On a beautiful crisp and sunny November day our friends Tim and Helen obligingly turned up with their car and we did a linear walk from Sourhope Farm to Kirk Yetholm. Grass rather than the more normal heather grows there.
