Sunday, October 06, 2013. We got up and went balloon chasing this morning. We found a large open area and parked the car. Approximately 20 different balloons landed while we were there. The boys ran around collecting trading cards. Bumble Bee landed right before we were to leave. Here the boys helped get all the air out of the balloon bag by sitting on it. After 45 minutes to get them dressed, two meltdowns by Weston, nursing Reef twice, Wyatt never finding his shoes and me sweating profusely despite the negative temperatures outside, I managed to get a few pictures of these cuties! It began with an early morning turkey trot - complete with numbered race bibs, a finish line for each runner to break, water stations to drink and toss dixie cups mid-stride the way the real runners do it and medals -for the girlies, a turkey bowl for logan, and lots of cheering for Carv and me.
