Thursday, July 30, 2015. June was a fun, full month. We got right down to summer business once we got home from the beach. We headed to the pool as often as we could. We ate ice cream often as well. Avery participated in cheer camp at school and then proceeded to jump and tumble all around the house. Sam said goodbye to his crib! We spent the morning at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens with Katie and Parker. We read, read, read.

Vi har länge gått och suckat över vårt akvarium, att det var för litet och för svårt att hålla rent. Droppen blev när William av misstag råkade hälla i för mycket fiskmat i fredags kväll. På lördagen när han vaknade var vattnet i akvariet helt igengrott och fiskarna kippade efter luft.

With the passage of time, the inevitable aches and pains and other losses are apparent. They walk with slow and sometimes faltering steps, but I feel no cause to complain. First an hour boat ride on Lake Mälaren and then a guided tour of the archaeological findings on Birka.
