Sunday, October 14, 2012. McKyrie was voted in to Student Council to represent her class. I am so proud of her and think she is going to have a great time doing this. This is something totally outside her comfort zone. she had to speak in front of the class and ask for them to vote for her. She wrote an awesome speech though, so how could they not vote for her? It was a 4 day 20 mile hike that they had to do along with pushing and pulling a handcart as well. Harper was excited as well! She got home and I was so excited to see her. She was tired and sunburnt and dirty and smelly but the best thing about it was that she enjoyed it and her testimony grew. . We went and saw Dirty Dancing. It was fun and we enjoyed the music!
