Our crazy Atkinson life. Monday, June 30, 2014. Today has really turned into quite a bust. I did help Trevor work on the sprinklers some, but I am mostly just watching Scandal on Netflix. There is nothing like watching a whole season of a show in one day. Saturday, October 25, 2008. October - Fire Awareness and Candy Festival. We went to the firestation during fire awareness week. They had a bunch of firetrucks out in the parking lot and inside they were doing some demonstrations on how quickly fires can spread in the home and what you can do to stop them and be prepared. Last but not least Smokey the Bear showed up! Nicky certainly was weary of him and you can see the best shot I got of him was him running away.

If students participated I hope that they understood what they were protesting. Was it to honor the victims of the Parkland shooting or was it to protest gun control legislation?
