It ended up being a week long celebration. One night she had some friends over and they ate popcorn and snow cones and watched a movie. She had two family parties. On another night we went to Boondocks and played laser tag, bowling, go carts, and video games. I wish that birthdays as an adult were as fun as the kids are. St Lucia- - We boarded.
Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Merry Christmas and a Happy Year! Well, life continues to speed by at a break-neck pace. I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas! I love Christmas. The decorations, the candy, the food, the parties, the lights, and of course, all of those remind me of Christ. What an amazing celebration commemorating.

Well, as I mentioned in my post before, we went to Spokane at the end of June for Matthew to do a bone marrow transplant. On a tiny stage, filled with keyboards, an overarching LED tree and other strange contraptions, Imogen Heap clambers to the front of the clutter holding a wine glass filled with water. She runs her fingers round the lip of the glass resonating an eerie tone that captivates the audience. Almost like magic, she sits at her piano and manages to craft a song from that constant ethereal drone.

Tuesday, March 24, 2015. I think her threshold is pretty high. She also has a spinal fracture and her legs are different lengths. As a result of all this, we have 4 MRIs lined up and more x-rays of her hips and legs. I keep reminding myself what a blessing it is that we have insurance! We are just hoping that the scoliosis is not caused by another neurological issue. The MRIs will determine this. After the spine doctor, we went to Chick-fil-A and the girls had a blast together.
