Saturday, May 4, 2013. I woke up this morning to the sound of birds chirping and the sun shining. Laying in bed for a few minutes, I got up, started my pot of coffee, and started my morning. I went outside to feed the animals and was greeted by our sweet and loyal farm dog, Marlie. Most mornings, Lyla is a part of this, but this morning she enjoying time with her grandma and grandpa, so I have some quiet time to gather my thoughts. The last few months have been a bit of a ride, to say the least.
