My Life, My Loves, My Legacy. Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Xiamen is on the south eastern coast. A different climate then Beijing. It is right on the Taiwan Strait so it is more tropical. Beijing is colder, closer to our climate. The air is cleaner in Xiamen and a few less million people sure makes a difference on the road! It was good to see the cultural difference. I enjoyed the trip, but I was sure glad to get home! One of the many street vendors we saw. Selling anything from fruit to trinkets.

Prior to moving east we hit the desert. Liz and I spent our anniversary in Philly. Liz chose the tuns, so you can blame her for the cheese. Sunday, February 9, 2014. We were a little surprised to learn about field day being in September when we moved here. Which I was not happy to hear considering it was not that warm for September anyway. I was still having a hard time with Colorado. I think mostly because i just missed our old life. Moving stinks!
