Sunday, July 20, 2014. We were able to take a road trip this spring to visit Clark and Kjerstin in New Mexico. We split the drive up over a couple of days to keep us sane, and we were able to see lots of fun things on the way up and down. We also brought our car DVD player and lots of snacks! White Sands National Park is really close to Las Cruces, so we spent an afternoon there sledding down the sand dunes and playing around.

Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Fall is the season for mums in the beautiful colors of autumn. I like the way the sunlight on everything has a golden sort of glow. The grasses have lovely purples and reds in them. While I was away a grandpuppy who shall not be named had a field day in part of my garden, destroying about half of it. Sunday, February 20, 2011. One year from the 17th we had a pretty boy! I swear we could have passed him up as a girl. Today, however, I think he is as boy as he could get! Happy 1st Birthday David.
