The purpose of this blog is to describe my cigar box guitar travels. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. I just finished my second Cigar Box Guitar build and it turned out better then my first one. I took an acoustic guitar approach for this one. The neck is made of oak. This time I did not use fiberglass to stiffen the neck as I did in my first CBG build. I glued popular to the side of the headstock and routed the edge with my dremel. I decided to pass the strings through the cig.

So I can take advantage of the open source community. I am attempting to learn and run OpenFoam which is an open source CFD code. Unfortunately, it only runs in a Linux environment. The purpose of this blog is to document the constructing of LED tail lights for a 2003 Toyota Matrix XR. Monday, April 19, 2010. So I am still trying to figure out how to the heck to make this thing look good. So I am now thinking that if I get a typical cylindrical LED instead of these high flux square ones, I might be able to just drill holes and slide the LEDs through the back of the foam insert. I think this might work the best. So I bought various LEDs from superbrightleds.

I think I ended up doing 5 coats of the minwax and sanded the final coat up to 800 grit. I have reassembled and cleaned my now fretless 5 string fender deluxe jazz bass! It might not be the prettiest but the sound is kick ass! Ill have to find my recording equipment so I can post a sound sample, maybe a video.CONTENT
