Saturday, October 5, 2013. Today I had friend come to visit from Salt Lake City - she was traveling with a group of lifelong girlfriends. So I guess I made some new friends today too. I played a little bit of tour guide and went out to have lunch with them at Simon Pearce.
Wednesday, August 22, 2012. THIS is one of the top reasons for picking this subdivision to live in. In addition to all the pools, there is also a lake. Funny tidbit, there is also a pool right next to the lake, surrounded by sand. At the lake you can take out their boats, which we LOVE. For the sake of remembrance.

Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Our special Great Grandpa Sheppick. Grandpa Sheppick passed away on June 16th, 2008. What a special day it was to honor him. He IS a great man. We were blessed to know him during our lifetime. To have him honored by the Naval Colorguard, was breathtaking. His three daughters were there to honor him. And then, of course, she got to show off her flying skills.

What a busy summer we had. We always think that it will slow down during the summer, but it never does. It has been fun having Makaila out of school for the summer and being able to do some family activities. Oh what fun we had with our cousins! We continued our annual trip to the zoo with Gma and Gpa Silcox. Getting ready to ride the carousel. We took a break at the end of the day to ride the train. Makaila, Jaida, and Davin having a sleigh ride.
