Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Car made by a little boy. Actual pair of well worn shoes worn by one of Compassions sponserees. Compassions Headquarters is in Colorado Springs so we were able to take a tour of the headquarters. This is a typical home of the people that Compassion serves. Our tour guide was wonderful and pointed out to us that the blue gas can would be a typical item used to transport water. 575 million people die each year from water-related disease. Thirty miles from where we live. We decided to go and see for. Ourselves what it looked like. This is the road going into the town. The smoke had covered the sky! Up in the mountains, the sky. Had an orange tint to it and the sun.
