For a change of habitat I decided to spend the day along the river at Rimbi, no surprises in what I saw, just birds typical of the area - 5 Plumbeous Water Redstarts, 1 Verditer Flycatcher, 1 Brown Dipper, 2 Crested Serpent Eagle, 2 Long-tailed Minivets, 2 Grey Treepie, 1 Mountain Tailorbird, 20 Himalayan Bulbul and a dozen or so Spangled Drongo. Thursday, July 09, 2015. Honey with a touch of the east. One of my main target species when I was in Eilat was Oriental Honey Buzzard. The mystery surrounding there occurrence in Eilat, recent discovery, eastern flavour, ID challenge and the thought of picking them out of kettles of European Honey Buzzards drew me towards them.

Monday, May 9, 2016. There are two companies I really like and we will choose between these two when it comes time to purchase our yurt. These companies get great reviews and one thing that keeps popping up online is the great customer service from both companies. Yurts are pretty versatile, you can build it on top of a garage, you can tack on another yurt down the road, you can add more insulation, if you can imagine it you can do it.

It only felt like a few months a when I scheduled a blog post for automatic posting. I was able to finish a few projects though. Like this mermaid tail blanket.
