Project Antifreeze has been a lifeline to many men and women over the past thirteen years. The project works five nights a week during the winter months, and offers three nights a week during the rest of the year. Our calling is to serve the needs of those who are rough sleeping or inadequately housed in the Brighton and Hove area. To say that these projects are a lifesaver is not an exaggeration, the team engage with extremely vulnerable people, providing essentials to keep t.

Off The Fence - Community Support. As a Brighton-based charity Off The Fence relies heavily on the support of the local community. Maybe you belong to a squash or golf club, youth group or drama society - if so, we would really appreciate your support. Why not hold your own fundraising event or support the events that we organise such as the Swim Gala. Not only do such events provide vital financial support they also enable your club or organisation to have a lot of fun.
Off The Fence - Gifts in kind. Throughout the year, our teams of volunteers go onto the streets of Brighton and Hove to talk to those sleeping rough. They help meet their immediate and basic needs by distributing food, hot drinks, clothing, emergency sleeping bags and toiletries. LATEST NEWSLETTER - January 08.
Off The Fence needs to raise just over 320,000 this year from charitable activities. We actively seek the financial support of Charitable Trusts and Foundations for operational costs, specific projects, equipment and capital developments. The project has had a record number of speaking and teaching engagements during this last period. At the beginning of 2007 Paul spoke in Brisbane, Australia. During the USA visit, he spoke to over five hundred young people in school assemblies, and had a good number of opportunities to speak within the Central Fellowship Church, hold Bible study groups and also at an addiction recovery programme. Off The Fence - Recycling. By recycling your old laser toner and inkjet cartridges and mobile phones, you can help raise money for Off The Fence. Off The Fence - Safe House. Provides acccommodation and support to homeless vulnerable young people, aged 16-24, as they make the transition into independent living. The size of the house and type of support offered makes it unique within Brighton and Hove. With a maximum of four young people living there at any one time, the house is far more like a home than an institution.
