Tuesday, February 19, 2013. A bit a of a delay in the blogs thanks to Christmas time and a lack of photos. However, today was the last day of Winterlude and absolutely gorgeous so we ventured out for a skate and to check out the sculptures. This is a sculpture that gets added to by visitors using water to fuse the coloured ice blocks to the main form.

Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Endpages for a Bestseller. Last winter I was contacted by writer blogger Jenny Lawson about one of my fabric designs. She was hoping to use it for the endpages of her up coming book. Months later Lets Pretend This Never Happened A Mostly True Memoir was launched and has become a huge hit. What Happened to Christmas in Victoria? I am not being a scrooge here, in fact quite the opposite. I want to see more Christmas! It seems to me that in years past that store owners in downtown Victoria would put a lot of effort into decorating their store window. I am not saying that we had windows on par with the famous ones of Manhattan. Is it a reflection of the fact that people are doing more and more of their shopping online or is it a complacency that people will come out.
