I found out today that I am invited to represent the USA on the Paralympic Track team at the World Championships in New Zealand. Now, if you had told me that I was going to make a statement like that 5 years ago I would have politely told you that you must have the wrong girl. Truly a moment in my life that I will never forget. It was within about a month of that day t.

Why is it that we allow ourselves to slip down back off the wave of what is possible as soon as the high of what is New has rubbed off? My wish for all of you is to have a magical holiday that will keep the fire of possibility burning inside you throughout the year.

Tuesday, September 3, 2013. I think everyone had fun. I sure did! Some of the littler kids picked up the used bullets and saved them in a box. I think they had fun comparing guns and talking about gun stuff. Shooting her new pink . Even the little kids shot the cricket . This is one of my favorite.

To do before I die. I really went to Africa. But late last month, my husband and I boarded a plane bound for the dark continent. It was a long flight; the world is a big place. Gulu, to be specific. Bathing in a bucket of cold water.
