Monday, 9 August 2010. Finally got the top finished - woohooo! Coconut, apricot and date loaves - delicious! We had our fair shares of knocks and bumps this weekend. Drawing up a birthday list - and then literally drawing all over it! A trip to the library yielded these lovely books. A little refashioning for Cassia. Hope you had a great weekend too! To bologna.

As a general rule, Golden Bay is sunny and breath-taking and beautiful and, well, golden. Spring flowers, a hat from Chile and lots and lots of cookies. A magical day on the slopes with lots of daredevil jumps. Finished with a lovely dinner and the traditional flaming cake to cap it off.
Friday, 8 May 2015. I have been doing a workshop with Alysn Midgelow-Marsden in fabric manipulation. We have worked with metal shims, natural materieals, paper and man-made materials such as organza which we have altered using heat guns and soldering irons, Bonding, layering, stitching, gilding, embellishing. Sometimes several of the above techniques have been used together. Tuesday, 28 April 2015. So Now I am retired. Do i get more done? .
