I did not run 15 miles today. I ran 16! A personal distance record! I am so glad I did this run as part of New York Road Runners Long Training Run, which is an unscored course in Central Park in which you can adjust your distance and pace up to 20 miles. Water and nutrition is provided along the way, plus misting stations and wonderful volunteers cheering you on. I so needed all of this help today.
