Friday, December 11, 2009. My sketch is of flowers. I used different lines to create texture and overlapping of the leaves and petals for depth. As an extension project the class could grow their own flowers then draw them after they bloom. In our sketch book I drew a barn with a mountain snow top scene behind it. For an extension project students could do a Languague Arts lesson about writing about something that means the most to them and why they drew it. Thursday, December 10, 2009.
Thursday, December 10, 2009. Project was my favorite project we created in the peer lessons. We brought in pictures of our own and scrapbooked. Saturday, December 5, 2009. I would give this go my mother as a keepsake. I will cherish this project for many years to come. Because children at such a young age could not write, my extension would be to illustrate why they chos.
Thursday, December 10, 2009. This was the art project I taught. It turned out ok as a class. We used a vanishing point and then the lines of the buildings needed to connect to that vanishing point. For this art work we were given construction paper and pastels, along with a picture of a landscape and we were told to create it after instruction o.
Friday, December 11, 2009. Monday, December 7, 2009. This was a lesson based on different 1 persons prospective on a landscape. These stepping stones were made by using cake pans or whip cream containers and cement. We were asked to bring a picture or to use a design using beads and p. Line, Shape, Form and Space.
Friday, December 11, 2009. For this lesson we were asked to bring in pictures, beads, shells, and any other objects that we wanted to place in our stepping stones. We then poured cement into whipped cream bowls and were able create our own designs with the materials we brought. For an extension activity to go along with this would be when learning about chemical and physical changes and also when talking about rocks. Tuesday, December 8, 2009.
