I chose this church because I really liked the dramatic architecture and I thought it would be good subject matter for this project. I took these photos in the early afternoon during an overcast day, which provided some really good lighting. This church is very tall and narrow and I wanted to capture that. I just graduated with a BA in Fine Arts and an AS in Commercial Art. I currently have my work displayed at the Lakewood Mall in Aberdeen, SD. Maybe, maybe not, if I can make them cohesive and come up with a defense of why I am doing them and what they all mean and what am I trying to say? This is my first digital rainforest painting.
