Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Peppy Jet and Fancy Pants. Our heifer is also pregnant. She is due in November. Peppy is our only horse that will share her food. Blackie and Bella will run her off. 2 I have a new nephew! For pictures, click here. 3 Brittany and Kaiden came to visit us this weekend. I love it when they come down here! I havent written anything in quite awhile, mostly because while blogging from Tanzania seemed like a wonderful communication tool, blogging about my daily life in the States seemed self-absorbed and uninteresting. At the request of loyal readers who knew? My plan is to return to sub-Saharan Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer in September to teach science at a secondary school and implement community public health projects. Hopefully, I will have more details reasonably soon.CONTENT

Sunday, September 15, 2013. One of our summer adventures included a rafting trip down the Wenhatchee River and a stop in Leavenworth, Wa. Here are a few photos from that trip. Leavenworth is an old German settlement on the east side of the Cascade Mountains. A la Midway, UT or Helen, GA. Quaint little town that we plan to return to during the winter.
