The vibration and quiet chirping of my cell phone on the nightstand wakes me. I fumble for the phone, hit the snooze key, then tuck my suddenly chilled arm back under the covers. It is cold and dark in our hotel room. The double bed is toasty warm with Madeleine snuggled up next to me. Ten more minutes of sleep. I bargain with myself then I proceed to press snooze four more times over the next forty minutes.
