Thursday, January 12, 2017. Tying up some loose ends on our Germany travels, todays post looks at Mainz and Cologne or, more accurately, Köln. Both cities are dominated by and primarily toured for their impressive cathedrals. They also happen to be cities in which we apparently didnt take many good pictures. Dag 12 Eindpunt Salamanca! De finale dag, op naar de kathedraal! De klok geeft 05. 30 aan, nog een beetje vroeg om aan de finale te beginnen. Eerst nog een bezoek aan de Universiteitsbibliotheek, een van de mooiste gebouwen met veel prachtige schelpen aan de façaden. Dan een bocht naar rechts en we staan oog in oog met de Dom van Salamanca. Het eerste wat ik krijg is kippenvel en dat is niet van de kou. Maanden zijn we met dit project bezig geweest .
