I love old stuff! I hate flat pack and high street shops selling the same stuff. I love rummaging and rescuing and restoring. This blog is about what I find. Some of these finds are for sale too. I love this 60s Xmas themed drinks tray that I found today.

Hitting east London, I went to Netil Market. Located on Westgate Street not far from London Fields. Nevertheless, this somehow only served to add to the atmosphere of the market, which had a very local feel to it.

Saturday, 9 June 2012. The Wee Man passed his soya challenge. I cannot quite believe it. I need to monitor him for the next 36 hours in case he has a delayed reaction. But all being well, come Monday I can introduce soya into his diet. He also had blemishes appear around his mouth. Not so much hives but red irritations that were itchy. And again they came and went quite quickly.

Now with added Sass! Returning on Sunday for the ticketed areas within the Royal Festival Hall, Ms. We made our way round the Royal Festival Halls many levels, stopping finally at the Studio 54 style party on the main balcony overlooking the Thames.

Tuesday, 14 July 2015. On our last holiday to Norfolk we went to A LOT of car boots. These stylish cast iron pans were our best find. They were made in Denmark by Copco. Definitely on a par with Cathrine Holm kitchenware for looks and are probably a bit sturdier as they are very heavy. Sunday, 31 May 2015. I will be at the next North London Vintage Market at Hornsey Town Hall on 6 June. I am very excited as the venue looks amazing.
