In late 2011 Noosa Yakkers decided to formally establish a list of record fish captures and to publish the list on this blog. The List is maintained and overseen by a volunteer designated as the Recorder, who updates this blog as necessary. Old Records and New Rules. OLD RECORDS and NEW RULES. The production of a set of rules for the new system was not easy, but we stuck with it and have come up with what we believe is a fair and workable rule set which is viewable here. Since mid 2007, members of Noosa Yakkers have been writing and illustrating kayak fishing Trip Reports and emailing them to their colleagues. This blog now takes over the email function but has the added advantage that it is an archive of all Trip Reports from the earliest times. So the blog contains all the Reports sent out by email plus the later Reports which are now published here, using Blogger.
