Friday, August 14, 2015. I always seem to be behind on this blog now a days. So, here is what happened with us in May. B took one of his really good friends to Mormon Prom. P and Grandma E visited the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island on a school field Trip. Here is P with Ellis Island and the New York City skyline in the background.
So, last Friday I got a little ambitious. Whereas our driveway initially looked like this,. A short 20 minutes or so later it looked like this. It was easy to take them down, but cutting the limbs off, cutting up the logs, and transporting them to the woodpile and stacking them took a couple of hours on Saturday morning. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Puget Sound in the summer. We just got back from visiting Collyns sisters. One is on Vashon, and the other in Bellingham. We also got a chance to have lunch with Shawn, Suzanne, Keith, and Julie. The weather was just about perfect. They, like most of the west, are in a drought, but there was some rain while we were there. Luckily, it came through at night. We hung out at a beach. Went to an overnight farm party, where we got rained on at night but stayed dry in our tent. It was .CONTENT
