Fun times as a jam doughnut. Friday, August 22, 2008. Awkwardness and the search for stuff to do. So I arrive at the Oldenburg train station and get picked up by Karl-Heinz and Anita Freese, old family friends that met my parents through Round Table in about 1989. I meant it; mostly based on memories of 4 year-old me showing them around our house, they simply pour attention on me. Its completely overwhelming and can get really uncomfortable.
