Wednesday, August 20, 2014. The Minnesota State Fair begins Thursday - which means that summer is approaching an end very soon. I am not ready for it yet. I am going to volunteer at the NAMI booth on Friday the 29th with a couple other of my ex-NAMI friends. We always have big laughs so I know it will be fun. I finally got my motorcycle running! Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Actually once I leave work this morning - tonight when I come in it will be my Friday.

Friday, July 19, 2013. I recently made a book out of the first six months of this blog so we could look back on it when we wanted to. Caleb especially loves it because most of the stories are about him.
Saturday, September 20, 2014. We are still waiting for the partner pictures. Dick will receive them so he can mount them and bring them up to the cabin. Here is what we have so far. I spent 2 weeks in July and 1 week in August 2013, did some mowing and brushing and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of being in Cannon Township for 3 weeks. These are some of the pictures I took with my Android phone, not great pictures but you get the idea.
There was never yet an uninteresting life. Such a thing is an impossibility. Inside of the dullest exterior there is a drama, a comedy, and a tragedy. A few of my favorite quotes. We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us. If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything.

Svea och Anna firar jul lite i efterskott. För att sprida ut festligheterna lite hade vi julafton. Med paket och korvstroganoff idag. Paketet bestod av ansiktsfärg, som jag varit mycket uppspelt och ivrig över att få använda ända sen det införskaffades. Svea tjatade om att jag skulle se ut som en pippi och hon som en katt. Men det slutade med att det tydligen bara var en av oss som behövde målas. Det var förstås jag det. Och själv drog hon sig ur, och ville ha gubbar på armarna istället.
