Since I had posted about the name Sophia and why we were going to name the baby that, I thought I should add an entry about how and why we changed it. He is doing very well and we are adjusting, although I will say it seems like he has been home much longer than that! I took him to the pediatrician on Sept 18 and he weighed 5lbs 12 oz. He had gained a little more than an ounce a day since he left the NICU. We had our one month appointment today and he weighed 7lbs 3 oz! Posted by Purifoy Family.

Friday, December 5, 2014. This munchkin started preschool this year. She goes 3 days a week but if it was up to her she would go everyday. She comes home and tells me all about her friends and teachers and snacks. Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

Sunday, January 11, 2009. We went to Birmingham, AL to visit family for Thanksgiving. The kids were being so cute that I forgot to take pictures of Thanksgiving dinner and just kept taking picures of them. Seth, Steven and John with their Green Chile. We spent Christmas in Nashville, TN. Christmas dinner with the family. Micah opens his present from Santa. Julie, Daniel, Micah, and Conor.
Trying to become the person I want to be. I have finally taken the last of the Christmas decorations down. My home looks empty and darker compared with how it has been the last few weeks.
