Monday, August 10, 2015. Not much to show for the last few weeks. I am quite pleased with this little print block I carved, in practice for a larger one. A new tree fern frond. For something different, it was a picture perfect day when I went to the recent Stitch .

It is all coming together slowly. Last Wednesday these appeared on our roof. 12 solar panels to generate some electricity for us and help the planet. Jonquils in vase on end of my kitchen counter.

In preparation for our celebrations with the Wednesday Ladies I decided to set up a raffle;. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes being massage with me. This is my sample to start the ball rolling.

I knew when I put this on the frame last week it would be a doozy! My customer spent a year on this quilt. Lots of English paper piecing and needle turn applique in this beauty. The quilting needed to be only the background so her work would shine! I never went into her solid fabrics as she had done a bold, hand stitching on these blocks.
