Milk, cream and butter oh my! October 22, 2013. Our focus this week was on Dairy farms and all of the food we eat that comes from both cows and goats milk. On Thursday we enjoyed a nice walk down to the lake for our snack and when we returned, we made butter, It involved lots and lots of shaking, rattling and rolling but it was fun and yummy too. We enjoyed it on crackers with our soup for lunch. The Turkey is a funny bird.

Spring is the perfect time for a high school senior portrait! I photographed Sofia in Concord when the irises were in full bloom. The sun was shining and Sofia and her mom just radiate their own kind of sunshine. Sofia was a bit nervous at first, but little by little began to relax.
