We took a bus from Esens to Neuharlingersiel and then the ferry to Spiekeroog Island at the edge of the North Sea. Spiekerook Island is a peaceful place with no cars, only foot, horse, bicycle and hand cart traffic. We took the train again from Esens to Jever, about 15 miles or so. We took a little side trip on the way Jever. Here Lynda is waiting for the train.
