The Life of Sue, Part 2. Saturday, July 30, 2011. It was a pretty uneventful day once again. The kids watched movies so that kept them pretty quiet along the way. Nick was feeling pretty tired this afternoon, so I took over the driving for the last 200 km or so of the trip. We had some pretty heavy rain at times, but overall a good day for a drive. Sunday, April 20, 2014. I see it has been quite some time since I posted to my blog. Much has happened during the intervening months. His cheerful presence and uncanny ability to anticipate my needs were, and continue to be, very much appreciated. The leg has healed nicely and I am thankful for the excellent care I received from The staf.
At first this was about doing a triathlon. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. The Salvation Army Camp, just north of Montreal, that I attended as a kid, while my parents ran the show, then as a camper, then as a lifeguard and last summer completing the circle of life, with my wife and kids, has had a major fire.

Saturday, December 20, 2014. Kitchen Reno - Done. Quite a difference from that last picture. The painful renovation process has not been forgotten yet but I do love how its turned out. What a world of difference in how it looks and how I use my space. A lot will need to be left unsaid for now. Maybe one day I can talk about it without obsessing over all the details and everything that went wrong, but that will probably take a while. A very long while.
