One of the things I can do while healing, without feeling like I am wasting my time is look at patterns on Ravelry. Where sewing and art blend together. This blouse is and example of the circle blouse style. I drafted a master of this pattern and then I copied off a version for this sleeve length. I had a great bit of fabric that had excellent drape for this experiment. In keeping with the spirit of summer I wanted to avoid anything heavy looking so I opted to face the neck with bias binding instead of a facing.

Managed to finish this in time for Memorial Day so it now hangs on my wall - where it will remain until the 4th of July - in rememberance of all the things we should be grateful that we have.
