The ladies enjoy a leisurely Sunday afternoon drink at the Boardwalk, complete with new hats purchased that afternoon. Not one of mine, but a great picture of our new Boardwalk at the Marina. Our blog about ownership of a Viking 295 river cruiser. Wednesday, 19 October 2016. After a breezy night we woke to calm weather and a glass-like river Thames. We were soon ready to head off from Pangbourne meadow down stream towards Mapledurham lock and pleasantly surprised to discover it was manned. Entrance to the Kennet and Avon.

Right then, having arrived on the Llangollen on 17 March we were not in a hurry and only travelled a few miles a day.
