Imagine a time when the gods turn a blind eye to the agony of men, when the last of the hellions roam the plains and evil stirs beyond the edges of the map. A time when cities burn, and in their ashes, empires rise. Was one of those novels that seemed to be the perfect book, but fell flat.
And deep down, you know it, too. I just love how he grows to care for Celaena, his struggle between his duty and his feelings for her. And mostly, I love how during her final fight, he offers her hope. Why I Love This Book In One Sentence.
