Wednesday, 4 November 2009. For my critical investigation, I will be looking at the representations of different ethnicities in movies, and how the films itself attract their audience. I feel this has more key issues and debates which can be analysed in detail.

Overall i got a level 3 which meant that my production was very good to look at. this could be due to the fact that it was very colourful and i used a lot of edits to try and make it look good. For this i got level 3 overall, which i was really happy at considering that i spent a long time creating this short clip. some feedback that i got showed that i could have used more resources however they thought it was quite creative.
Monday, 2 November 2009. As I am looking at Ageism in TV for my case study, I chose X Factor as my text. I will be focusing on the 2008 season as there was a contestant called Daniel Evans who was being abused because of his age; he was claimed to be too old for the show. They wanted to try and alienate him from the core audience who actually vote, but while they attempted to do this he still stayed in the show for a few weeks more than the producers could have kept him in.
