This blog is all about our baby Natalie39;s hearing progress. At birth she didn39;t pass her hearing test, diagnosed profoundly deaf and soon thereafter found out it was a genetic condition called connexin 26. She had hearing aids on by 3 months and at 9 12 months received bilateral cochlear implants. Her left side was activated January 24th and we are excited for the 2nd side to be activated in a few months. We are thrilled already with the progress we are seeing.CONTENT
