Saturday, September 07, 2013. I take it all back. Everything I previously said about how much I hate pine straw as a mulch, I take back now. Im going to alter my statement to say pine straw has its place. I still think it looks awful in flower beds, but Ive found a fabulous place that I love how it looks! Here is a later in the year shot, after its starting to show abuse. To the left of the front walk, just past the super cute red heads. Friday, December 21, 2012. Last Sunday night, we took the boys to see the annual Christmas Zoolights display at the Baton Rouge Zoo. Core really got into it this year, eagerly running from one light exhibit to the next. When Core saw this one he said,. Core and Alfie enjoyed their donuts together.
