Wednesday, June 20, 2007. In May I went to Granada for 5 days and finally got to see the Alhambra. It lived up to all my high expectations and we were lucky to go on a Thursday and avoid the huge crowds which was great. Also from the outside it makes an impressive feature in the landscape. Tuesday, March 13, 2007. This was my garden in February. Amazing what a difference 4 weeks make. I had to halt planting this project last week. The semi mature betula nigra were craned into place and a week later sunk due to the rain! They will have to be lifted out and replanted when the weather dries out.
