Empty Nest but Full Heart. Friday, October 21, 2016. Checking Back In Quickly. Just a quick update. My cancer was progressing in spite of being on the clinical study, so my doctor has withdrawn me from the study and started a new chemo regimine. Ive already had one treatment. If the amount of fluid that accumulates in my abdomen is any indication, its working already. Hopefully its killing cancer cells, too. And Im trying to do as much as I can to regain as much of the strength I lost in hospital.CONTENT
