He used a lathe and wood from an apple and a cherry tree. The chair has been passed down for generations. Used by my children and now my grandchildren. Eddie, Jackie and Betty Ann. MY VERY OWN BLOG FOR ALL OF MY ADVENTURES. I just returned from a trip with my dad to Africa! We traveled over 7800 miles to get there. It was awesome! This is me in our room. I loved riding in the jeep on safari. One of my favorite adventures was on a SEGWAY watching the giraffs. Taking a train to get to the famous Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls was awesome! Sometimes I needed to catch a quick nap! Our trip was unbelievable. Africa is amazing! April 4, 2011.
