Under sommaren 2009 lämnar vi tryggheten i HK-korridoren uppe på maskin och beger oss ut i den stora vida världen. Under två månader ska vi utföra fältarbete i Namibia som en del av vårat examensarbete. Arbetet sker i samarbete med University of Namibia, svenska exportrådet, PIEp och Sida. Under arbetet ska vi analysera behovet av småskaliga off grid-lösningar för elektricitetsförsörjning för den Namibiska landsbygden med utgångspunkt i en ångmotor som tagits fram på KTH.
