Tuesday, 11 March 2014. René Baptiste - A Waveney of chub 5lb 5oz and a new PB. The weather turned out to be lovely and the sun even came out. After a few photographs the fish was weighed and dad was more than pleased when the dial went round to 4lb 13oz. So close to the his goal of a 5lb chub this season but no cigar.

Saturday, 2 November 2013. Well the big storm hit us fare and square, our greengage tree is no more, and the stable roof took a hammering, but on the upside I have managed a trip to the stour for the first time in a month, only for a couple of hours, but it was a real breath of fresh air in more ways than one, it was blowing a hoolie.
