Thursday, December 9, 2010. I read an article by my classmate, Megan. The article is well written but I do not agree with the subject. Julian Assange released diplomatic cables on his website Wikileaks. The Obama administration started with the idea of operating the government with full transparency. In fact earlier this year Hillary Clinton made a speak about the freedom of the internet. I have read a few articles about the documents that have been released.

Kavita Patel was previously policy director for the White House Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs in the Obama administration and recently posted her views on the thoughts of the public on the repeal of the health reform enacted by President Obama. Friday, October 1, 2010. Of all the things the government does that drives me insane is how they grossly earmark nearly ever bill. In some cases, they use these earmarks as legal bribes for votes. When it comes to a political way that I lean, I would say that I am more left. I see positives and excellent arguments from both sides. I do tend to agree with liberals often.

Friday, December 10, 2010. Response to US Military Spending Kicking Ass vs. Balancing the Budget. I dont agree with down sizing our Nations military. I am a strong believer in always being ready for anything i.e, North Korea. I think the main reason a lot of countries do not try to pick fights with the U.S. is due to our Military presence.
