Saturday, January 17, 2009. As many of you know, there is little to no health care available for animals here on the Rock. One morning a week when they have the medicine, and that is a big. Animals were brought into the clinic for all sorts of reasons. Bonnie, pictured above, had an eye infection that needed to be looked at. She also ended up getting spayed. Our bus made a few stops on the 7 hour drive from Puno to Cuzco. One was at the little town of Pukara. There are some of the oldest pre-Inca ruins around there. Also, all over Peru, people put Pukara bulls on their roof for good luck. We stopped by a glacier. Stopped to check out some llamas. We made it to Cuzco.

Adventures in the South Pacific. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. For my 25th Birthday Ben and I went to Savaii. Savaii is the largest island in the Samoan Archipelago but it has about half of the residents of Tutuila. On my birthday we headed North to Manase. On the way we stopped at a reserve and went swimming with turtles. We also went on a short walk through a lava tube. Apparently no one has ever been to the back of the cave but our guide couldnt really explain why. We also climbed a giant banyon tree.CONTENT
