Life on the road as a teenager with a service dog - travelling, dealing with grief and loss, dog training, and more. Our generator broke down at the beginning of June. Wednesday, 26 September 2012. We went fishing at Urunga, but we didnt catch anything unfortunately. We played dock dogs which is where we throw a stick into the water and see which dog can jump the furtherest. Of course Tess won every time because Asta would only fall in and go under water and Lassie would do some silly little boingy, splashy thing and only just land in the water, and Sparkie did not want to swim. Tuesday, March 20, 2012. I was inspired by a project I saw on Design Sponge. For vintage postcard calendar journals and thought I could make an intimate version as a great anniversary present for my husband. Et voila, the coutarel love calendar journal. The idea is to write one thing we did together every day. Not a novel, or a story, or even necessarily a sentence, but a few words, a phrase, a place. Something to spark a memory years down the road.
Would I do it all over again? YES Having been away from home for nigh on a year it has been a profound and unforgettable experience, full of a myriad of firsts and a whole heap of new friends. The sunsets of Ko Tao.
